About these terms

These terms apply when you use Numberwise, operated by HEKNO Ltd ("HEKNO", "we", "us" or "our"). Numberwise is under active development during a private beta — features, content and structure may change without notice.

Informational nature

Numberwise content is general information and education, not professional advice. Mathematical properties shown on the site are computed and verifiable; historical, cultural and religious content is sourced but may be incomplete or subject to correction. Content labelled as belief, tradition, or interpretation reflects documented practice, not an endorsement of its truth — see our methodology and data sources pages for how we source and grade evidence.

Limited permission

HEKNO grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access Numberwise for lawful personal or internal use, subject to these terms and our Intellectual Property & Content Use policy. No ownership rights are transferred.

Prohibited conduct

You must not use Numberwise unlawfully; interfere with its security or availability; bypass access controls or rate limits; introduce malware; impersonate others; systematically extract or republish protected content contrary to our Intellectual Property & Content Use policy; or remove rights or provenance notices.

External services and sources

Numberwise links to and cites third-party sources. Those services are controlled by their own owners; HEKNO is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a citation does not imply endorsement.

Intellectual property

HEKNO and its licensors retain applicable rights in Numberwise's original text, editorial work, software, designs, and its structured database — including the selection, arrangement, and confidence/provenance framework behind every number profile. See Intellectual Property & Content Use for what this means for reproducing, extracting, or otherwise reusing content.

Availability

HEKNO may improve, restrict, suspend or discontinue Numberwise or any part of it. The service is not promised to be uninterrupted or error-free, particularly during this beta period.

Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights available in your place of residence. Subject to that, HEKNO is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, that result from misuse of the site, or that arise from reliance on content without reasonable verification.

Governing law

These terms and any related non-contractual obligations are governed by Scots law. Subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers in their place of residence, the Scottish courts have jurisdiction.
