What we process

Numberwise does not require an account to browse or search. We use essential cookies to run the site (for example, to remember your cookie consent choice), and only load analytics after you grant consent via the cookie banner — see our cookie policy for detail on each category and how to change your choice. When analytics is enabled and consented to, we collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data (pages viewed, searches performed) to understand which numbers and topics matter most. We do not sell personal data.

Advertising and affiliate infrastructure exists in the codebase but is not currently active on the live site; if and when it is switched on, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated first, and any advertising cookie will be gated behind the same consent mechanism as analytics.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process the data above to provide the site (legitimate interests), to keep it secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests / legal obligation), and, where you have consented, to understand usage and improve the site (consent). We do not currently send marketing communications.

Suppliers

Numberwise is hosted on Vercel. Where analytics consent is granted, usage data is processed by Google Analytics. We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing suppliers at this time.

Retention

Consent choices and aggregate analytics data are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. We do not retain personal data beyond what your browser or our analytics supplier stores under the retention period each sets.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (see cookie policy). To exercise a right or raise a data-protection complaint, contact privacy@hekno.co.uk; we will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Numberwise is not intentionally directed at children.
